Okay, here's the deal: I am a nerd. Probably one of the nerdiest chicks in my school, and I have to say that life is good; especially when we live in a world that involves comics of every kind and plenty of colorful video games to fry my brain to the core. Not only am I you're typical computer geek that keeps a death grip on a playstation 2 controller, I am an outrageous book-worm. Strike up a conversation about James Patterson or Jane Austen and you will have the golden ticket to stay on my good side forever.
Now, about blogging. As you can plainly see, I am a newbie who's giving this a shot in the freakin' dark. I've seen hundreds of great blogs that have the perfect topics: World hunger, political debates, and the classic "what's-your-opinion-on-this-or-that-and-why?" Of all the topics I could possibly choose from, I wanted to do something along the lines of the things that I enjoy. (i.e. Games, books, comics, manga, anime, etc....mainly anime) But why, on this green, but fading green earth, would I even consider taking a crack at something like blogging? Because I simply want to converse with other geeks like me. Sure, I can do that in a chat room (and believe me, I have tried) but 85% of the time, the other person I try to talk too just wants the cheap, painfully stupid knock-off thrill of cyber sex, or have absolutely NO idea about what I'm talking about. I want to hear about the interests of others and opinions. Is that so hard to ask. This sad, little excuse for a blog may not be the high and mighty topic of the world, but it's a safe haven to just talk nerdy and embrace the geek within!
Now, let's get this show on the road. There are over 6 billion people in the world; who out there would like to introduce them selves? I'll start off this gravy-train. I'm sango51893. I'm 16 going on 17 and I have a fetish for anime. (my personal faves are InuYasha, Skip-Beat!, Fullmetal Alchemist..etc.) I am an aspiring writer and I use fanfiction.net to practice writing under this same screen name. I could go on for days, just talking about anime. PLEASE TELL ME THAT THERE IS SOMEONE, ANYONE WHO CAN RELATE TO ME!! Wait....did tha sound a little desperate? Yeah...it did...
